My main meal typically consists of seasonal mixed green salad, radish and avocado, protein from fresh wild catch fish or free range eggs, sometimes along with aged or fresh goat cheese. For carb fuel food I like legumes and steamed root vegetables (carrot, pumpkin or squash) or Warrior Cereal High Protein Rice Crisps. In fat fuel days I finish with raw almonds or pistachios (my favorite nuts).

Do not use carb fuel in high fat days. And note that butter fat is not an ideal fat fuel. Instead use foods predominately rich in monounsaturated fat such as nuts, seeds, olives and avocado.

High fat diet does not inhibit growth hormone or testosterone production. Quite the opposite. The key factor for HGH and T viability is insulin sensitivity. The high fat low glycemic diet promotes insulin sensitivity and thus help keep these hormones intact.

Much of it is degraded to amino acid mess which is not viable. Cooked animal flesh protein isn’t soluble, it has low biological value and needs to be reconstructed by your body or broken for energy as an inferior fuel.

That’s if the negative energy balance is not compensated with sufficient fuel food intake. But lowering of the body’s temperature isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Interestingly, it is one of the most notable markers of longevity. Regardless, to avoid that side effect and keep your body warm, do not water fast during the winter months. Have warm soups and hot drinks during the undereating phase. Avoid selenium and soy containing products as these may inhibit your thyroid. Add dark chocolate (no sugar added) to your diet. Cocoa has been shown to boost nitric oxide and increase circulation which may help increase your body heat.
